New Club and Preview of Make and Take!

NEW - Virtual Club starting July - SIX spaces remaining

If you want to take advantage of all of the benefits of hosting a home Stampin’ Up! party without actually having to have one......you might be interested in joining my next virtual club!

Do you drool and dream over certain products? Then read on.

This club is different to any I have run before! In this 10 month club you will receive:

·         A free Idea Book and Catalogue + a Mini catalogue
·         Monthly Make and Take project
·         At least £15 worth of products EVERY month
·         FREE products spend in any current catalogue
·         FREE exclusive hostess gifts
·         A dedicated club blog with instructions for the monthly Make and Take, a monthly project demonstration and order update information
·         Chance to win the mystery prize each month

So unlike my current and previous clubs, this one is going to be run in the same way as one of my Stampin’ Up! home parties. I’m afraid you’ll have to provide your own nibbles and refreshments though!

10 people commit to joining the club for 10 months and each month spends a minimum of £15 on products each month. To be fair to everyone, we all pay 50p towards post and packing on each order. You can collect your orders from me if you live locally or if you’re far away I can post them out to you.

At the start of the club each member is given an Idea Book and Catalogue and a Mini Catalogue and allocated a hostess month. On your hostess month you receive both the hostess gift and the hostess spends which will always be a minimum of £15

Now when I do a home party, I demonstrate a project each month and explain how to make this to all the guests. As ours is a virtual party, I will put photographs of this project along with instructions of how to create it on a special invitation only blog.

At my home parties all the guests get to try out the products before they order by sitting down to have a go at a Make and Take projects. Our virtual party will be no different! Each month with your order you will find a packet with your Make and Take Supplies inside. Again, photos of the completed project and step by step instructions will be posted on the party blog.  Here is a preview of the first month's kits:

And the project you can make with it:

Another exciting thing at my home Stampin’ Up! parties is that each guest gets the chance to win a mystery prize. True to form our virtual party will also have a mystery prize each month. One of you will find a mystery prize in with your order each month of the club. The prize will always be Stampin’ Up! product.

Interested?
My new virtual party club will be starting in July. This means party members will also get a FREE copy of the new Idea Book and Catalogue in October!!

If you’d like to join in, please contact me to reserve your place on 07748 707845 or email me at bluejellystampin@sky.com. One of my existing clubs comes to an end in June so if any of the current members would like to take a place – please let me know as I will not automatically continue with the current club. SIX spaces remaining!

Orders along with payment need to be with me by the 15th of each month. You will also receive a copy of the hostess schedule, a letter of introduction, order forms and a club agreement.

More from my all day class

I forgot to show you some more of the projects the ladies made at my all day class at the start of this month! My favourite set uses the beautiful Ornate Blossom stamp, Sincere Salutations and the gorgeous Whisper White Note Cards. I love these so much, you get a set of 20 Note Cards and 20 envelopes in a pack for £6.75. So as well as having the lovely smooth card to stamp on, you get the equally smooth envelopes too.

I stamped the Blossom on the card and again on a piece of Whisper White card, cut out the centre and layered it above the first one in a different colour. I also stamped the envelopes with the smaller image from Ornate Flowers. I love that we have the same image in different sizes. Here's one of the cards:

I've been busy this weekend doing a few more bits in my craft room. I'm at the stage now where it's ready to paint, I just can't decide what colour to go for, I'm fed up of magnolia! Once it's all finished I'll share some photos with you.

Punching Frogs

I've been punching a lot of frogs this week making some craft fair bits and bobs and my Hubby asked me to use one of them on a Father's Day card for his Dad.

The sentiment was stamped by masking the letter 'a' and then replacing it with an 'o'. I used the Always Artichoke Marker to match the ink. The sentiment is from the level two hostess set in the mini Celebrations. The frog is made by punching lots of ovals and circles, the wobbly eyes and the red pen used for his tongue are none Stampin' Up!

Being as it's Father's Day here in the UK I'm off tostart cooking my hubby a lovely roast dinner so we can sit down and eat with the boys later.

Monogram Daddy

Boy am I glad for the Less is More challenge this morning. I've been wondering and wondering what to create for a Fathers Day card for james from the boys. Their theme is Monogram and it helped me out lots!

The sun is casting shadows everywhere this early so I had to nip in to the kids sand play house in my pj's to snap this! I've used Pacific Point and Tempting Turquoise as my colours and my featured monogram is the letter 'D' from the Varsity alphabet set. I masked the 'D' off after I'd stamped it and then overstamped with the little boy from All in the Family and then added the baby at the end. Of course I had to add the sentiment somewhere too so it's inside:

Perfect sentiment from the level one hostess set Celebrations in the mini catalogue.

Can't hang around - it's breakfast time now - or hungry time as Zac calls it!

Card and Gift Bag

Oops a few days without blogging - bad Jelly. Things have been a little bit upturned in the House of Jelly this week but fear not normal service shall soon resume. Or should I say normal chaos?

James' Gran celebrated her birthday this week so we got her a picture frame a popped a photo of the boys digging sandcastles on the beach in it for her. I made the matching gift bag and card:

Sorry the card is a little blurred, I can't take another photo as the guft has already been given! I've used Crumb Cake card and various scraps of patterned paper along with the Pick a Petal stamp set for the petals and the centre of the flowers. The sentiment is Heard from the Heart. I have loads of these natural looking gift bags and like to decorate them up to match the cards.

I'm busy now planning my next all day class which will have a Christmas theme, don't worry though, it's not until September!

Keep Calm and Stamp Stuff

This morning me and my lovely downline Tracy went to meet up with two of our other demos friends Zoe and Emma for lots of coffees, incredibly frothy hot chocolates and OK we might have had cake and other stuf too! Twas a very enjoyable day indeed and I managed to find a few minutes (and I mean a few minutes) to know one of these up for them all yesterday evening:

The square ones are the cards and the top ones are wallets containing a little gift. I've used Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait (In Colours) and used the Hostess Level 1 set A Slice of Life from the mini catalogue. I shaded the image using the same inks and a blender pen.

Inside each is a fridge magnet I made:

Thanks for a lovely day ladies, looking forward to meeting up again.

Fab Class today

Aw I've had such a lovely day today running my all day class. Thanks so much to everyone who came along, it was great to see you all making all those projects and to see you adding your own touches too. I have to thank Sue especially for travelling all that way - hope you made it home a bit quicker! I also have to say Hi to Dianne, Tracy, Sarah, Emma and Lexie who are all new to my classes.

I didn't take photos during the class which is very unlike me, sorry ladies, I promise to capture you mid craft next time. Here is one of the projects we made though:

We used the very fabulous Owl Punch teamed up with Greenhouse Gala papers. We also made a set of thank you cards in a box, a gift bag and cards and a set of any occassion note cards too as well as a Top Note gift box and card. I'll share the projects over the next few days.
My next all day class will be in September and have a Christmas theme. I will publish the date as soon as I book a venue.

I also have a couple of spaces still in my Big Shot class this coming Tuesday at 7pm. The cost is just £10 so if you'd like to book a place, please let me know.

Cocktails and Rainbows

Morning all. It's a lovely suny day today in contrast to the thunder storms we had yesterday evening! It's also time for another challenge over at Less is More and this time the theme is a one layer card 'in the frame'.

Here's mine:

Just for a change I have used Crumb Cake card and stamped my frame, image and sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed using white powder. The frame is from one of the sets in the new mini catalogue Sew Lovely and the cocktail and sentiment are from one of my favourite sets Cheers to You. Once I'd embossed it all I coloured the image and frame using a blender pen along with Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks.

Taking of the storms last night, I was amazed to see two rainbows together. I had to hurry to get a photo as we were putting the boys to bed and I had to lean out of their bedroom window to take the pics! I hope you can see them both, the lower one is so much clearer:

Hopefully now I'm back off holiday I'll be able to get round to some commenting this week!

CASual Friday

I'm joining in with a new to me challenge today CAS-ual Friday. There is a recipe challenge to follow this week and I have chosen Chipboard, Embossing and Gems.  Here's my card:

I've made a 6" square card using Crumb Cake for my base. The cupcake is chipboard from the On Board Mix and Match set. I embossed them both and then daubed over with Whisper White followed by Early Espresso and Pretty in Pink. The Very Vanilla square is also embossed!

The sentiment stamped in Early Espresso is from Heard from the Heart with one small self adhesive rhinestone gem added above the 'i'.

Still on holiday mode today, the kids are climbing the walls to play outside though and now it's stopped raining that's exactly what we're all about to go and do.

Top Note Class Teaser

Ooh back home now and already wishing we were still on holiday. Another quickie post from me today as I need to finish unpacking and all before we put the boys to bed.

I'm holding my Big Shot Top Note class on Tuesday evening next week, I still have a few spaces if you'd like to join in?

Here is a teaser of the projects we'll be making:

Nice bright summery projects including a purse, a gift card holder, card and treat bag. Looking forward to the class!

A bright card and a traditional seaside

I meant to post this earlier in the week but forgot! This is the card I made from my boys for their Grandma for her birthday:

It's a nice big card and I've used Old Olive, Real Red and gorgeous DSP. The sentiment is in Real Red and die cut using the Timeless Type Big Shot alphabet set and then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

Sorry it's a quick post but it's another scheduled one as I don't have my usual internet access. I took this photo yesterday, I love it as it looks like a traditional English seaside photo to me:

All would be perfect if me and the boys didn't have streaming colds!

A day at the beach

Whilst away I've managed to squeeze in a spot of crafting. It's the latest I've joined in with Less is More but I'm having to pay for the internet by the day and it's a bit pricey! Anyway, the theme this week is monochrome and here's my card:

I used A,ways Artichoke and Certainly Celery along with Ornate Flowers and Ornate Blossoms stamp sets. Only a quickie explanation as got to bath the boys in a mo. So for all of you who had to go to work today..........

Here is Blake having his first ever paddle in the sea!

Similar but different!

I showed you the projects we made at my Strength and Hope class on Saturday and have adapted on of the projects. It's my Mum In Laws birthday today and we bought her a cute silver and pink necklace and matching bracelet. The pink was so Pink Pirouette that I used almost the same box design using the Top Note die to pop them in. The card is a bit different too:

For the box and card I chose the sentiment from On A Pedestal and stamped it in Early Espresso. The card uses die cut letters in Pink Pirouette using the Big Shot Timeless Type alphabet set - so versatile! I know my MIL loved it and the contents too!

Back tomorrow with the card I made her from the bubbas!

One Great Year

Looking at the Simply Scrappin' kit One Great Year I decided to do a mini album for 2011 documenting by boys and how they change month on month. So I made my own 6x6 page mini album and here's what it looks like:

There is an extra page hidden inside for each month too, so lots of room for more photos and journalling. I'll share more pages soon.

If you'd like to make one of these yourself, I'm running a

One Great Year Mini Album Class
on
Saturday 2nd July at 1pm in Nottingham.

Cost of the class is £15 payable by 22nd June

If you'd like to book your place please contact me ASAP on 07748 707845 or email me at bluejellystampin@skycom

Strength and Hope Class

Late posting today but I was out all morning with a lovely bunch of ladies and Pete at my Strength and Hope class. Here are the projects we made:

Isn't the tri-shutter card beautiful? I'm afraid I can't take credit for it though as the design and instructions were kindly provided my Michelle Last - thanks Michelle, everyone loved it. We also made another card with a ribbon flower and a pretty box using the Top Note die. Everyone bought the stamp set as part of the class and Stampin' Up! donate £1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation  and I matched it by donating £1 to Cancer Research UK.

All the projects use Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla and of course Strength and Hope stamp set.

Here's one of the cards made by Tracy:

And here's the box I designed. A little distressing around the edges using a dauber and some Early Espresso ink:

Want to see a few shots of the class in action?

I'd hired a lovely room and it was lovely and cool with the door open. Look at the concentration on everyone's faces! A few shots later and they were all laughing their heads off at a story Janet shared with us!

Oh and we had treats too, yummy cucpakes:

Thanks to everyone who came along, I'm looking forward to sending the cheque off along with the donations made too.

I Have Arrived

Ever been promising yourself to do something and never actual get around to doing it? Well that's been me and making scrapbook pages of my boys when they were born! So finally I have made a start. Here's Zac, I used the phrase 'I have arrived' along with this particular photo on his birth announcement cards:

It's the left page of a double layout but I can't share the second page yet as that would spoil things for the ladies coming to my baby themed scrapbopok class on Tuesday 28th June! I've used Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Whisper White card and Little Additions stamp set. I'll share more after the class!
